Baked Chicken and Broccoli Pasta

A great addition for any special occasion is the baked chicken and broccoli pasta dish. A very tasty and rich baked pasta dish that is simple to cook. The ingredients are very basic and easy to find in supermarkets. All you need to do is to saute the aromatics, chicken and broccoli, add in the macaroni and all-purpose cream, season to taste, cook the milk mixture by sauteing the butter and flour then add in the milk and simmer until it thickens then pour it in the chicken-broccoli mixture. Then bake it until cooked.

To cook baked chicken and broccoli pasta; Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a saucepan and saute garlic and onion until onions are tender. Add the chicken and stir cook until it changes in color and turned white. Stir in macaroni and broccoli and season with Magic Sarap, salt and pepper. Pour in all-purpose cream and stir cook for 2 more minutes and set aside. In another saucepan, heat another tablespoon butter and add flour and cook until crumbly and brown in color. Slowly pour in fresh milk and stir continuously until smooth. Transfer chicken and broccoli mixture into a baking dish. Drizzle generously with prepared white sauce and top with grated cheese. Bake on a 350 °F, pre-heated oven for 15 minutes or until cheese melts.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion chopped
  • 1/4 kilo chicken breast fillet cubed
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 3/4 cup cooked macaroni shells
  • 8 grams sachet of Maggi Magic Sarap
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 250 ml All-Purpose Cream
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 250 ml fresh milk
  • Grated quick-melting cheese

    Instructions
