Notes

Cooking Tips:

Slice Beef Thinly Against the Grain

Cutting the beef against the grain helps break down the muscle fibers, making each bite more tender and easier to chew. This is especially important if you’re using less expensive cuts instead of tenderloin. Thin slices also cook faster, which is perfect for a quick stir fry dish.

Use High Heat When Stir Frying

Cooking over high heat helps sear the beef quickly and lock in its natural juices. This creates a slightly caramelized surface that adds depth and flavor to the dish. It also prevents the meat from becoming tough or overcooked.

Let the Sauce Simmer Gently

After adding the sauces and stock, allow the dish to simmer so the beef can absorb all the flavors. This step helps tenderize the meat further while thickening the sauce naturally. Avoid rushing this process, as a gentle simmer brings out the best taste and texture.
