Slice the chicken fillet into large cubes.
Get a mixing bowl and add in the chicken fillet, salt, black pepper, soy sauce, raw egg, hot sauce and cornstarch.
Mix all the ingredients until the chicken is well coated with the egg mixture and seasoning.
To make the breading: Get a separate owl and add in the flour, paprika or chili powder, garlic powder and onion powder. Mix all the ingredients until well combined.
Dredge or coat the chicken fillet with the breading and place in plate and set aside.
Heat cooking oil in a pan about an inch deep and fry the chicken popcorn until golden brown and crispy.
Serve with gravy or ketchup on the side.
