Ingredients

  • 2 pcs whole chicken breasts cooked and cut as desired
  • 2 tsp cooking oil
  • 1 pc onion chopped
  • 4 pcs water chestnut sliced
  • buko water from 4 young coconuts
  • 2 tsp fine salt
  • 1/4 tsp white ground pepper
  • 4 fresh young coconuts meat intact in shell
  • 1 pc onion leek sliced diagonally

Instructions

    How to cook Steamed Chicken in Coconut Water:

    • Heat cooking oil and saute onions in oil until transparent. Add chicken and water chestnuts.
    • Add buko water and simmer until chicken is tender. Season with salt and pepper.
    • Transfer the mixture into buko shell and steam for 10 minutes.
    • Serve hot, garnished with onion leeks.
