Ingredients

  • 1/2 kilo ground pork
  • 2 slices sweet ham chopped
  • 1 pc red bell pepper chopped
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp. fine salt
  • 1 slice pineapple sliced

To make the syrup

  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar

    Instructions

    How to cook Hawaiian Meat Loaf:

    • In a bowl, mix all ingredients except the pineapple. Set aside.
    • Boil the pineapple juice and brown sugar until thick or reduced to half.
    • Pour syrup in a loaf pan and place the pineapple slices.
    • Transfer meat mixture in this pan and cover with aluminium foil or wax paper.
    • Steam for an hour than cool and remove from the loaf pan.
    • Slice and serve.
