Cooking Tips of KFC Popcorn Chicken Recipe:

1. Perfecting the Seasoning - To ensure your KFC popcorn chicken is bursting with flavor, marinate the chicken pieces in a mixture of salt, black pepper, soy sauce, raw egg, hot sauce, and cornstarch for at least 30 minutes. This allows the flavors to penetrate the chicken, resulting in a more delicious end product.
2. Getting the Breading Right - For a crispy and well-seasoned coating, make sure to thoroughly mix the flour with paprika or chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder. This ensures that each piece of chicken is evenly coated with the flavorful breading, giving it that signature KFC taste.
3. Achieving the Perfect Texture - To achieve a crispy exterior without overcooking the chicken, fry the popcorn chicken in batches in hot oil. This prevents overcrowding in the pan, allowing each piece to cook evenly and become golden brown and crispy. Drain the fried chicken on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil before serving.
