How to Cook Beef with Mushrooms
A simple yet tasty beef with mushroom dish.
Servings: 6 servings
- 1 tsp. parsley finely chopped
- 1 kilo lean beef
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 medium size onion chopped
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 stalk celery chopped
- 2 cups mushrooms sliced
- 3 cups beef stock
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
How to cook Beef with Mushrooms:
Cut beef into 1/2 inch cubes. Dredge with flour and heat oil in a skillet and fry beef until brown.
Lower heat and add remaining ingredients except mushrooms.
Cover and bring to a boil. Simmer until beef is tender.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and add mushrooms during the last five minutes of cooking time.
Serve hot. Good for 6 to 8 servings.
