Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. all purpose flour
  • 1 pc Knorr beef cube
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 pc white onion minced
  • 1 tsp. black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 4 Tbsp. fresh milk
  • 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce

Instructions

How To Make Chicken Joy Gravy

  • Heat an empty pan in medium heat and put the flour. Stir constantly until the flour is slightly brown and toasted. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, heat the butter until melted. Add onions and stir until soft. Add the toasted flour and stir until the flour absorbed the melted butter.
  • In an empty bowl, combine hot water and beef cube and stir until the cube is dissolved.
  • Add the beef broth to the roux (flour and butter mixture) gradually while stirring the mixture. Stir until the desired thickness of the sauce is achieved.
  • Take note, you need to pour all the beef broth in the mixture. Just enough to make the desired consistency of the gravy.
  • Add garlic powder and black pepper powder and stir. Add the milk and soy sauce and stir again until the sauce is thick.
  • Get an empty container or bowl and a strainer. Transfer to the bowl while passing the gravy on a strainer. Serve with your favorite fried chicken!
