  • 1 kilo chicken, your choice cuts
  • ½ head garlic,¬†crushed
  • 1 pc onion, chopped
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • ⅓ cup vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 cup Sprite or 7-up
  • 2 pcs bay leaves
  • 1 pc siling labuyo
  • ½ tsp. cracked black pepper
  • cooking oil for frying

How to cook Browned Chicken Adobo:
  1. Wash the chicken and cut into desired pieces. Drain and fry in hot oil until brown.
  2. In a pot put the fried chicken, garlic, soy sauce, onion, bay leaves, sugar, siling labuyo, Sprite and black pepper.
  3. Turn on heat, cover and simmer until tender and the sauce is reduced to half.
  4. Serve hot.
