How to Cook Beef with Mushrooms

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp. parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 kilo lean beef
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 medium size onion, chopped
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cups beef stock
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper

How to cook Beef with Mushrooms:
  1. Cut beef into ½ inch cubes. Dredge with flour and heat oil in a skillet and fry beef until brown.
  2. Lower heat and add remaining ingredients except mushrooms.
  3. Cover and bring to a boil. Simmer until beef is tender.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste and add mushrooms during the last five minutes of cooking time.
  5. Serve hot. Good for 6 to 8 servings.
